Tribal Jewelry: Back to Our Roots

Tribal or ethnic jewelry, as some might refer to it, has long been the point of my interest. There is a certain magical feel and mystique to it as it holds the key to our humanity. Our struggles and progress are visible in jewelry just as much as in the other art forms. Tribal jewelry in particular carries that emotional profoundness that I believe is the most powerful and valuable aspect in jewelry.

TribalWhether we are talking about the African, Native American, Indian, or any other tribes, tribal jewelry reveals things about its people and allows us to understand their world better, and ultimately ourselves.

This type of jewelry also has some of the most interesting materials, shapes and colors, which is a fun and exciting part of the jewelry craft. Let’s just admit that tribal jewelry’s got that mojo!

Until next time,

Hi there! I am Ileana Djujic, a jewelry blogger and the founder of Foxy Pearl Jewelry. We inform, share, and educate about authentic jewelry and jewelry-related events, wholesalers, deals and so much more from all over the world. Our goal is to encourage people to explore and experiment with jewelry, and to challenge trends rather than simply follow them. Besides jewelry, I am equally passionate about travel, the arts, writing (obviously), running, and chocolate. But jumpsuits, padded shoulders, and dresses with pockets are nice, too!
